THE FORGE
Create new NFT Cult tokens with unique characters* and finishes not available during minting. Group two, three, and potentially more pieces together in various combinations in order to see if the recipe ingredients are fulfilled. Invalid combinations will show a blank image. If an invalid combination is executed as a transaction, it will be rejected by the smart contract.
*NOTE: Sacrificial forging available at a future date.
The Game
After all tokens are minted, the first forging mechanism will be enabled for holders to decide what to do with their tokens. Character types of different colors (silver and gold) can be burned to create a new two-tone (Ultra Rare) token.
Approximately two weeks after forging is enabled, the second forge mechanic will commence that will allow all three characters to be burned for a fourth yet to be revealed character. The fourth character is eligible for the first forging mechanism as well.
For eligible recipients that minted at least 33 tokens during the sale, founders edition tokens will be distributed using the intra-collection airdrop mechanism into an agreed upon token slot. To claim your founders edition token, contact NFT Culture staff with the token slot you wish to use for the airdrop. This mechanic leverages the concept of Burn Minting.
But… Something else is also brewing… burn minting will be enabled for all wallets with burned token slots at a future date.
